Welcome to LensLearn. By using our platform, you're agreeing to these rules. We've tried to keep them simple and human.
0. A Platform for All Ages
LensLearn is designed for learners aged 5 and up. We welcome children, teens, and adults to explore, learn, and grow with our AI-powered platform. We've created special protections for our youngest learners, as outlined in these terms.
1. The Basic Agreement
LensLearn is an immersive, experiential learning platform powered by AI. When you create an account, you're joining a community of curious minds. To keep things running smoothly, you agree not to use LensLearn for anything illegal, harmful, or designed to "break" the AI.
"As-Is" Service: LensLearn and its educational guides are provided "as is" without any warranties. While we strive to provide a high-quality learning experience, we do not guarantee specific learning outcomes, grades, or the continuous availability of the service.
2. Your Account & Responsibilities
You're responsible for keeping your login info secure. Since LensLearn offers features for kids and teens, we expect adults to supervise their children's use of the platform. We use AI to moderate content, but you're still responsible for the images you upload and the questions you ask.
Age Requirements
- Children under 13: Accounts must be created and managed by a parent or legal guardian using their email. The parent has full control and oversight.
- Teens (13-17): Can create their own account with a parent or guardian's email. Parents can monitor and manage the account at any time.
- Adults (18+): Can create independent accounts.
Parent/Guardian Responsibilities
Parents and guardians are responsible for:
- Creating and managing accounts for children under 13
- Supervising their children's use of LensLearn
- Ensuring age-appropriate content is uploaded
- Monitoring learning activity and setting limits
- Reporting any concerns about content or safety
3. Subscriptions & Credits
We offer different tiers (Free, Starter, Pro) that grant you "Learning Credits." These credits reset monthly and do not roll over.
Need-to-Know Info:
- Starter Plan: 750 credits/month.
- Pro Plan: 2,000 credits/month.
- Payments are processed securely via ourthird-party payment partners depending on your region.
- Refund Policy: We only offer partial refunds. If you request a refund, the amount will be prorated based on the number of credits you have already used in your current billing cycle. Please note that payment processing fees are non-refundable. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis through our payment processors.
4. The AI Disclaimer
AI isn't perfect. We use Google's Gemini models to provide educational explanations.
While we strive for accuracy, LensLearn is not a replacement for professional advice (medical, legal, or financial). Always verify important facts with primary sources. We are not liable for any actions you take based on AI-generated responses.
For children: We apply additional content safety filters to ensure AI responses are always appropriate for young learners. However, parents should supervise young children's use and verify important information independently.
5. Content Ownership
You own the images you upload. LensLearn owns the platform, the code, and the specific design of the AI guides. By using the app, you grant us a license to process your content to provide the service (i.e., making the AI understand your image).
Important for parents: You confirm that you have the rights to upload any content on behalf of your child, and that such content is appropriate for their age group.
6. Safety & Content Moderation
We use AI-powered content moderation to keep LensLearn safe for all ages. We reserve the right to:
- Block content that violates our community guidelines
- Suspend accounts that misuse the platform
- Flag accounts for parent review (for teen accounts)
- Delete content that is inappropriate for children

7. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting support.
8. Global Usage & Law
LensLearn is operated from the United States and Nigeria. By using the platform globally, you consent to the processing of your data as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
Governing Law: These terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved in the federal or state courts located in Delaware.
